CHARTER MARKET
Fakenham’s Charter was granted in 1250. The market is held every Thursday except when this day falls on a bank holiday, when an alternative day may be substituted.
It is a busy country market supplying a wide variety of clothing, foods, fruit & vegetables, plants and household goods.
The income from the Charter Market is used to give grants to charities within the civil parish boundary of Fakenham and at least 50% of beneficiaries should be residents of Fakenham.

Fakenham also has a privately run Flea Market and auction held on Thursdays
FAKENHAM FARMERS’ MARKET (Fakenham Area Partnership)
Is held in the Market Square between 8.30am & 12 noon on the FOURTH Saturday of every month (please note this is not always the LAST Saturday). A wide variety of fresh top quality local produce, seasonal variations, usually 25 to 35 stalls.
A traditional market with atmosphere, value and entertainment, come early to avoid disappointment.
