DEVELOPMENT & MARKET COMMITTEE every 2 weeks

This Committee comments on all plans received from North Norfolk District Council, it has executive powers when considering planning applications, licences and charitable collections. It allocates grants* from Fakenham’s Market Tolls fund, and is also responsible for regulating the Thursday Market.

LEISURE & ENVIRONMENT COMMITTEE every two months.

This Committee is responsible for all cemeteries, parks, gardens, play and amenity areas, the hiring of Trap Lane playing fields and pavilion.

POLICY & RESOURCES when required.
Chair Cllr Jeremy Punchard.
This Committee is concerned with personnel, policy and staff training.

ALLOTMENTS COMMITTEE quarterly.
This Committee has 2 Town Councillors and 5 Allotment Holder Representatives.
