Fakenham Town Council has decided to revive the popular Thursday Market following some relaxation of the Social Distancing rules, as announced by the Government earlier this week.
Stallholders are looking forward to returning to the Market and are all introducing their own systems for safe distancing.
Returning to the Market will be a tea and coffee stall (takeaway only), Deli stall, Fruit and Veg, Bread, Fresh Fish, Cheese stalls. Also the popular plant and flower stalls will return following the relaxation of rules regarding garden centres.
The Market closed on March 14 after the Prime Minister introduced national lockdown.
The Council was persuaded to reopen it after a number of traders and residents got in touch about heading back to the stalls.
The Town Council requests that all visitors to the Market observe the Social Distancing rules and do not congregate in groups of more than 2 people
The market is open from 8am.
